Blending poetry, storytelling, music and visual media, Andrew elevates the impact of an event by transforming an organization’s or brand’s message, an event’s theme or a personal story into an experience audiences can feel. His custom poetic performances have brought messages of purpose, belonging, resilience, leadership, hope and human connection to life for audiences at corporate conferences and conventions, healthcare gatherings, churches, community and special events. His performances have been featured at events for organizations including the Catholic Health Association, Salesforce, Illumina, the U.S. Department of Defense, Rock Church San Diego, Site SoCal, NAACP San Luis Obispo County Branch, and others.

More Than the Stage

Andrew’s perspective has been shaped by an unusually diverse professional and creative journey spanning education, corporate leadership and organizational coaching, theatrical writing and production, and live performance.

Before pursuing his artistic career full time, Andrew spent more than two decades working in corporate and consulting environments, including senior enterprise Agile and leadership coaching roles supporting organizations such as Salesforce, Centene and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. His work has included leadership development, organizational change, team effectiveness, facilitation, training and helping people reconnect their daily work to a larger sense of purpose.

His creative background includes playwriting, theatrical directing and producing, live event production, video editing and content creation, and, ultimately, spoken word. Together, these experiences have given Andrew a unique ability to understand both the message and the moment — whether he is helping an organization bring its purpose to life, telling a couple’s love story, inspiring a congregation or creating a memorable experience for a special event.

While Andrew’s work takes many forms, the purpose behind it remains remarkably consistent.
