Hi Andrew,
I’m the guy with the beard that chatted with you on the corner last Monday after your Mountain View Red Rock open mic performance. It was very refreshing to hear your “Loving God” approach rather than the opposite that has been occurring more recently there. My wife Carol and I are Christians there (not many of us). Jesus showed he loved them, because he really did. So we try to do the same.
Your timing being there was interesting. There are others that have your style who present the opposite of Christianity, and yet they still seemed to appreciate your gift also.
We hope you come back.

Thanks Chuck and Carol for your wonderful comment! I really appreciate it! Yes, it was very encouraging to see that the piece was well received by those who may not share our faith. It’s my desire to be more intentional about sharing the message in my poetry to those who may not know the powerful, personal, intimate, realness of God’s love. I definitely plan on coming back again to another open mic. God bless you both as you continue to share His love with the group. That’s what I it’s all about!
Take care.
